1,000 British Military Personnel were deployed to the Caribbean in 2017 to assist after Hurricanes Irma and Jose.  They have been deployed again to provide support in the Bahamas due to Hurricane Dorian.  The Armed Forces Community (AFC) are able to adapt to any given situation, coping under extreme pressures.  The skills needed in situations like these and civilian life, prepares the AFC to always ready for what is thrown at them.

British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) hold a programme of National Employment & Career Events throughout the year and country.  These events give the AFC the opportunity to meet employers, training providers, charities and associations face to face.  Over 80 companies from across the region and country will be in attendance, all the specific reason of attracting the AFC to their company.

BFRS are back in Tidworth on the 12th September 2019, for the National Employment & Careers fair for the AFC.

Those attending are urged to bring their CVs along with them, to benefit from FREE CV-health check or book on to one to one military resettlement coaching workshop.  In the past, employers attending the event have been particularly impressed by those attendees who have researched the exhibiting companies and brought along their CV and record of achievements to demonstrate their skills.

BFRS founder Harry Dean says:

“Support should be offered to all those who are involved in the resettlement process. This is why we are keen for partners and family members to capitalise on the support BFRS has available for those connected with the Armed Forces. We welcome to our events all ranks and their families ranging from those still serving to those who left some time ago.“

“The Surveillance Group have worked closely with BFRS for many years now. We pride ourselves on employing ex-military personnel and a great amount have found us via BFRS events.”

Attend the event free of charge for the AFC and you can register by clicking here.
