Train4All - Women in Construction

Amazing Opportunity for Women to Step Into the Industry

BFRS Members, Train4All have recently announced their new 'Women in Construction' course, an amazing opportunity for women looking to get into the construction industry.

They are offering two 6-week courses where participants can learn DIY skills that will be useful not only in work but in everyday life. From Bricklaying & Plastering to Painting & Tiling, this course is a great way for women to get their foot in the door of the construction sector.

These courses are fully funded for women that are over the age of 19 and are unemployed, and with participants only having to attend a lesson once a week, it is perfect for those with a busy schedule.

Some words from Train4All about the announcement:

"We are delighted to have launched our next series of Women in Contruction courses at Train4All. The courses have been designed to assist females who may be free during school hours or are working part time hours to gain some valuable construction and DIY skills that they can utilise around the home."

"Courses are running once a week for 6 weeks with attendance required between 9.30 am and 2.30 pm, giving plenty of time for school drop offs and pickups! The course may also be free if certain eligibility criteria is met, so check out the details here and get in touch to reserve your space."
