BFRS A Social Enterprise – Business for Good

BFRS has recently renewed their membership with Social Enterprise UK!

British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) is a Social Enterprise (SE) that works in support of the Armed Forces Community (AFC). BFRS' primary social objective is to work as the focal point between the AFC and commercial businesses. With the aim of helping the AFC to engage face-2-face (F-2-F) and digitally with companies across the UK, to ensure the right help, support, and advice is provided when moving into future civillian careers and their journey through resettlement.

What do social enterprises do?

Social enterprises are businesses like any other business. But how they operate, who they employ, how they use their profits is more focussed on transforming lives and communities across the UK and around the world.

Social enterprises work in every sector of the UK economy, creating and trading consumer products and services, providing local community resources, running creative agencies, arts organisations, recycling projects, cafes and restaurants, cleaning services and waste management companies. Social enterprises also provide high quality public services, and as many as a third of community healthcare providers are social enterprises. BFRS specialises in working with, supporting and providing a service for the AFC.

BFRS are proud to be renewing their Social Enterprise UK - Business For Good membership. This is because we like to show our appreciation and support to the AFC through giving back. We do this by providing resettlement advice and support in order for you to achieve a smooth and successful transition into Civvy Street.

BFRS has veteran employees who are equipped with the knowledge and experience of the resettlement journey. We know exactly how daunting it can be for some, as many of our team have been through it themselves, therefore as a social enterprise business we want to do everything we can to provide support and opportunities to those in the community.

With that being said, BFRS are also now members of the Warwickshire County Council Fair Chance Employment Programme and are a Fair Chance Employer!

What is the Fair Chance Programme!

The Fair Chance Employment Programme is an innovative and inclusive programme developed with Warwickshire employers to support them in making their recruitment process more flexible, more inclusive and ultimately more accessible to a wider talent pool of people who may have barriers accessing the job market. As an inclusive employer BFRS are proud to be a part of this programme.

Who do we support?
