Southampton Solent University and Shanghai Maritime University are jointly hosting the 2nd International Conference on Maritime Policy, Technology and Education (ICMPTE 2017).
Conference themes
The conference will address a number of key issues affecting the maritime industry, including:
- Safety and security at sea
- Marine environmental protection
- Maritime technology
- Seafarers' education, training and career prospects
- Human, social and cultural factors in shipping
- Other issues related to key maritime themes
Call for papers
Papers submitted to the conference will be evaluated by the conference academic panel. While all papers submitted will be included in the conference proceedings, those papers selected by the panel for official publication have an opportunity to publish in a book after the conference.
