Force Atlantic
are the official British Army team to be entered the 2019 the Talisker Whiskey
Atlantic Rowing Race.
The team are
all from The Army Foundation College, which is an establishment that forges soldiers
and creates leaders. It offers life
changing opportunities to men and women from all walks of life, preparing them
for a future where they become the Army’s leaders of tomorrow.
The team were
recently featured in The Telegraph in an article that first highlighted
their exploits and discussed their aim to make Kingsman Kian Helm a world
record holder.
Whilst pushing
themselves through this epic event, Kian and the team are aiming to raise
awareness of social mobility opportunities available in the Army, whilst
attempting to raise £100,000 for the Army Benevolent Fund to support their

On the 15th
October, Force Atlantic will be hosting a media engagement day at Hartlepool
marina. As an upstanding member of the
wider media community, they would like to invite you along to meet the team,
have a look at the boat and equipment, and take the opportunity to go out on a
rigid inflatable boat to see them in training on the water. On the back of your support, their will be
further opportunities for you to engage with the team in the future.
