An incredible military Dinner Night of food, drink, music, pipers, drummers, inspirational speakers and special guests... all designed to showcase Force Atlantic - the British Army's first transatlantic rowing team which aims to raise £100k for ABF The Soldiers' Charity in its 75th anniversary year.

Force Atlantic is the official British Army team aiming to win the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in 2019 - a 3000 mile transatlantic rowing race.  Formed by three staff and a recruit, all from the Army Foundation College Harrogate, the team aims not only to come first in a

30-strong international field, but to showcase the amazing opportunities the Army offers young people.  At 18yrs old, Private Kian Helm, a recently graduated Junior Soldier from the College, will become the youngest member of any Armed Forces in the world to have rowed an ocean.

Relax and be inspired by an evening of military finery.  Enjoy a drinks /canapés reception and 4-course meal.  Bid for some truly unique ‘money can’t  buy’ prizes.  Hear some inspirational stories of courage, leadership and resilience and enjoy the company of our special guests including RAF Tornado Navigator, prisoner of war and broadcaster John Nichol, Military Cross recipient and Antarctic Explorer Ibi Ali, Invictus UK Team Captain and Author David Wiseman, Team GB and Olympic Biathlete Amanda Lightfoot, Producer and Director of 'Raw Recruits' John Bonny, Army senior soldier, Army Sergeant Major Gavin Paton and many more.

The evening will provide an opportunity to sponsor the rowing campaign itself.  Have your company name and logo, or even your selfie, carried across the Atlantic emblazoned on the side of the boat from as little as £150.  You can also pledge support to the incredible ABF The Soldiers’ Charity on the night.

The Dress Code is Black Tie (with medals for uniformed service veterans), Long Dress or Cocktail Dress.  Military guests and hosts are to wear Mess Kit with medals.

Tables of up to 10 guests will be hosted by military members of the College, intermixed with special guests.  A seating plan will be produced ahead of the night and seating preferences can be emailed to the event organiser.

Please note, there will be no access to the barracks for guests before 6.15pm so please don’t arrive too early!  And please remember to bring your ticket otherwise you might not make it past the very effective Guardroom.

Car parking is available on site.
