Online dinner, with a welcome from HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, followed by Q&A sessions with speakers, the online auction, and a leg-stretch in the middle.
Online Dinner – 5th March 2021
The winter nights are dark, however you can enjoy a great night-in with family and friends (whoever lockdown allows) at our online dinner! So, you provide the atmosphere and we bring you an enjoyable evening of entertainment.
2019’s D-Day Dinner was something really special, so I’m sure we’re in for a memorable night in, raising money for a great cause. Alick H, 2019 D-Day 75th Anniversary Dinner guest
Warming up for your online dinner
Fancy a pre-dinner tipple? Mixing or inventing your own cocktail can help get your entertainment night in under way. So get mixing, then name your cocktail, take a photo and send us the result. Then, we’ll send a cocktail hamper to whoever produces the best cocktail! Why not challenge your family and friends to produce the best cocktail for looks, name and taste?
Don’t want to cook? Let someone else do the hard work, so you can enjoy your evening. Click here for a delicious top-end curry to arrive at your door. Don’t forget to add your own discount code. Then simply unpack it and pop it in the oven!
We’ll provide the entertainment
Stimulating speakers. From the worlds of sport and soldiering, we’ve got some great speakers, so you can ask questions in advance and on the night to make your evening a memorable one.
- “Top Tenuous”. We’ll also want to hear your most tenuous links to our speakers. After the dinner, the funniest ‘claim to fame’ will receive a delicious Spring food hamper.
QS – A Question of Soldiering. Instead of Phil Tufnell and Matt Dawson, you get to captain your own quiz team.
Online Auction. We’ve got lots of fabulous prizes available – preview list will be here from 1st February. Bidding starts from 6pm on Saturday 27th February then we’ll add more prizes on the night.
Prize Draw. You can donate too during the dinner. Afterwards, we’ll send a food and drink hamper worth over £150 to one lucky donor.
What kit do you need? Your entertainment night in is all online, so we recommend you have two screens to make the most of your evening. As a minimum we suggest you have a laptop/tablet (to view the entertainment) and a smartphone (to look at the auction prizes and send us messages).
