Our Virtual Quiz is a great way of testing your general knowledge from the comfort of your own home and raise funds for the charity at the same time.
How it works
Our Virtual Quiz takes place via Virtual Quiz Events on the first Thursday of each month. Log on and play in real-time five rounds of six multiple-choice questions (Categories: General Knowledge, Sport, Film & TV, and Music). The winners are the top three players that answer the most questions correctly in the fastest times. 1st place wins 10%, 2nd place wins 6% and 3rd place wins 4% of the Fundraiser Fund. The charity receives 60% of the Fundraiser Fund. Why not challenge your friends and family by encouraging them to take part too. The more people that take part, the money prize money in the pot! You’ve got to be in it, to win it!
How to take part
- Visit: Virtual Quiz Events to set up a ‘Player Account’
- Click ‘Register to Play’ and complete the ‘Player Registration’
- Under ‘My account’ on the homepage you will find your dashboard with tabs such as bank details, Pending Quizzes. Make sure you add your bank account details so that if you win, Virtual Quiz events can transfer your winnings! You’re ready to go!
- Find our quizzes by clicking here or search ‘ABF’ on the site
- Entry for each quiz is £3
- Click ‘Enter the Quiz’ which will take you to the checkout
- Under ‘Pending Quizzes’ you will find all the quizzes that you have registered to play in
- Players log into the quiz on its scheduled date and time. Log in at least 5-10mins before the quiz starts and you’ll see the countdown timer
- Take part in the quiz… it should take about 15 – 20mins
- At the end of each round, the player will be shown their current quiz position
- At the end of the final round, the final results will be displayed and the the total funds raised for the charity
