Telent Case Study

From Communications System Operator to Installation and Provisioning Engineer

Meet Kirsty:

Kirsty served for 7 years in the Royal Engineers as a Communications System Operator, where she enjoyed making friends, learning new skills, travelling the world – a lifetime of experiences.

During Kirsty’s transition, she did copper and fibre training courses – and her recommendation to those in their transition – “do as many courses as possible!”

Kirsty’s role at Telent is an Installation and Provisioning Engineer – responsible for testing and termination of fibre and copper on the motorways. She enjoys the fact that life on Civi Street is more relaxed than the military!

Telent has a great heritage and a distinctive company culture built on Service, Commitment and Value. They’re proud of their relaxed and friendly work environment, and the way they work as a team.
