The Royal British Legion hosts a performance of music and readings in Trafalgar Square, London on Armistice Day in the lead up to the Two Minute Silence at 11.00am.

Please join the Legion either in person or via a live webcast for our Silence in the Square event in Trafalgar Square, London, for the Two Minute Silence on Armistice Day, Wednesday 11 November.
Ben Shephard will host the proceedings which include musical performances and readings from a variety of artists leading to the two minutes of silence at 11.00am. Everyone attending will then be invited to place poppy petals in the fountains.
We will be broadcasting Silence in the Square live on the day, streaming by live webcast on this page.Videos of previous events are available on the Legion's YouTube channel.

In the days before Armistice Day we’re asking people to show that they’ll be taking part in the Two Minute Silence on Armistice Day.By holding a poppy to their lips they’re showing the nation that they’re ready to mark the #TwoMinuteSilence in Remembrance of those who laid down their lives.
