Step into Health is open to all Service Leavers and Veterans and their spouse/partner. It is an incredible opportunity which provides bespoke work experience packages of up to 4 weeks for veterans to explore the extensive career opportunities available.
Whether you are interested in catering, maintenance, administration, finance, communications, management, or a role in one of the clinical services, to name but a few, this programme will benefit you.
The NHS is keen to invite you to explore your transferable skills and the potential training and career opportunities available.
These events provide the opportunity to network with fellow service leavers, NHS employees and employers.
On the day you will receive:
- A welcome from the NHS Trust
- An overview of Step into Health programme in London and the South East
- A brief introduction to the hospital & its specialist areas
- Stories from Veterans now working in the NHS
- An outline of NHS roles, opportunities and sort after skills
- A networking lunch, which will include representatives from all the participating NHS Trusts
- The opportunity to apply for a work experience placement at one of the participating organisations
