Gary Taylor:
I spent 6 years
within the Royal Logistic Corps, I served in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus and
Germany. I have been working at Kuehne & Nagel for 9 months as a customer
care specialist. This was the first job I have had since leaving the Military,
it is a different community to the one you are in within the Military but it is
still a really good community to be a part of and you just fit straight in. The
work ethic is very similar to what it is like within the Military.
Sean Pocock:
I joined the
Military in 2005, based at Ripon then Northern Ireland supporting the Black
Watch. I was then deployed on Herrick 10 in 2009 for the Afghanistan tour, my
Military career came to an end in February 2010. I was attracted to working for
Kuehne & Nagel because they are very good at what they do and offer a wide
range of roles within HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Operational roles, Driving and
roles within the Sales department.
Tony
Burcham:
I joined the
Army, May 1994, on completion of basic and trade training I was posted to 29
Regiment RLC. I supported exercises in Turkey, Kenya, Bosnia, Croatia and the
Balkans. When leaving the Military after serving 22 years I jumped at the
opportunity to start a new career and become part of the KN Integrated
Logistics MoD team. I have been working with K+N now for well over 2 years as a
full-time employee.
