At the Building Trade Skills Centres you can train to be a plumber, gas engineer or electrician. You will become City & Guilds qualified, which will guarantee you a well paid career for your future. We are Europe’ largest Training Centres for the construction industry.
As a plumber or electrician, we will train you to City & Guilds standards for level 2 & 3.
If you decide that plumbing is for you we will train you to City & Guilds standards and then train you to ACS standard so that you can qualify for Gas Safe registration, which is essential to go on to the new CAPITA “Gas Safe” register, formerly known as CORGI.
If you want to re-train as an electrician after having done your City & Guilds level 2 & 3 (2330), we will train you on the 17th edition (2382) and the City & Guilds Inspect & Test (2392) requirements.
You are then eligible for job placement help and support from our careers office, who will help you find work in the area that you live
