Each year, more than 20,000 individuals leave the Armed Forces. This figure is set to dramatically increase as the MoD plans to make 54,000 additional redundancies before the year 2015.
Former Service people leave the Military equipped with a wide breadth of specialist skills that can be perfectly transferred to second careers in a whole range of industries. This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of an almost untapped resource of skills and talent, plus gain wide exposure for your company or services amongst the Armed Forces community. These include exhibiting at or sponsoring our events, holding a virtual stand at our online virtual career fair, promoting training courses, jobs, self-employment opportunities and other resettlement services on the BFRS website and communicating with the 14,000+ members of our online community. Host events that reach the Military community
BFRS has worked with organisations such as NOF Energy to create sector-specific events for the Forces community. We have created single-industry sub-brands such as Military2Energy and Military2Security with partner organisations, hosting events which introduce hundreds of ex-Military candidates to career and training opportunities in those sectors.
If you are interested in working with BFRS to create an event for your industry, we would be interested in working with you. We are highly experienced in the area and will take the lead on the event organisation and marketing, generating exposure and attracting hundreds of ex-Forces attendees.
