At BFRS we aim to make the transitional process from the Armed Forces into Civilian life seamless, the preparation is vital for your future and career.

It may be that you need to convert Military qualifications into the Civilian equivalent, or you may be changing you career path entirely and need to re-train. Whatever your needs, BFRS can supply a comprehensive list of approved training providers who are there to advise and recommend a training course or package to compliment the transition process you are on.

This section gives you information on the official MOD Forms (JSP 534 The Tri-Service Resettlement Manual) required for your various resettlement activities, from initial registration for resettlement to work placements and training.

Enhanced Learning Credits

Personnel claiming ELC after they have left the Service are eligible to claim support, up to ten years from their exit date, providing the activity is a nationally recognised qualification at Level Three or above on the National Qualifications Framework, and the Course Provider appears on the Approved Provider List held by the Customer Service Provider.
